Season 6 – Episode: Summer School

First Broadcast in Germany: November 14th 1989

Tom Selleck as Private Detective Thomas Magnum

Storyline

Since R.J. is constantly getting himself into trouble, he is considered the black sheep of the family. For this reason, Robin Masters sends his nephew over the summer to Hawaii under Higgins' supervision. However, even Higgins cannot prevent R.J. from once again getting himself into trouble.

Widow Charlotte Graham does not believe that her husband has died from a natural death and turns to private detective Magnum to carry out the necessary investigations. She does not know, however, that she is not speaking to Magnum, but to R.J., who is posing as the famous detective. R.J. sets out to solve this case.

R.J. is, however, not aware that a group of thugs has the mission to kill the real Magnum. But they have never seen the detective, and they only know that he drives a red Ferrari. The Ferrari, with which R.J. is now on the road.
