Storyline

The American self-made millionaire and playboy Danny Wilde has finally decided to buy a house in England. Here his eye fell on a dilapidated country house, also known as the Witch's house.

Shortly after Danny moves into the house after the renovations, appears Rupert Hathaway, a neighbour, to visit. He suggests buying Danny’s house. He even goes so far, so as to offer twice the purchase price. Even this very interesting offer is rejected by Danny.

Accompanied by attractive Lucy Scott, Lord Brett Sinclair makes himself on his way to visit his friend in his new home shortly afterwards. To their confusion, they must realize, however, that Danny seems to have been swallowed up by the earth - there is no trace of him.
